i've worked in industry my whole life where we worked weeknights and weekends about 50 hours a week. All of us fantasize about a job where we can just work M-F 40 hours a week. It's our ultimate dream yet people act like that's a ****ty schedule?
Are those people just lazy as **** and don't want to work? I don't get it. Every single person in my industry would be totally ecstatic to have a 9-5 job if they could make good money

No because with a hundred years of innovation and machines and now AI. We as humans should be working less and enjoying life more. However we’re still slaving hours of our lives to profit big corporations and elites.
You would think as it no longer takes days for one company to send another company correspondence, or weeks for a simple task to get done that with the efficiency, we can finally start living and enjoying life. But no social economic gap is there, and dumb kids get millions on tic tac while the average person is slaving 40 to 50 hours a week/\^/\^ Misc Colorado Crew ^/\^/\

Not saying everyone should be a business owner, but people working crazy hours at a job they hate is not worth it. Hell, 40 hours alone at a job you hate is miserable. Money is overrated, unless one actually enjoys the kind of work that brings in the big bucks, they're better off finding something they enjoy doing for a bit less. Think 60-100k
Of course not everyone will make it or is meant to make it, but bragging about working 60 hour work weeks at a job you dislike is silly. I work for a salary and while it doesn't pay much by misc standards, I love my job. Most people aren't as fortunate as me. Unless your job is your passion, then no need to put in more effort than the minimum needed to afford the quality of life you want.
A job you're not passionate about is just that, a job. Put in the minimum and focus your energy and time on things that get you fired up.
