We have seen several videos of youngsters performing stunts on public road on the internet. Recently, Noida Police has arrested a biker for performing such stunts on road. Noida Police arrested Pushpendra Singh, who is a resident of Delhi’s Krishna Nagar for performing stunts on his KTM Duke motorcycle. The video of him performing stunt on road had gone viral on social media and within hours after he had performed the stunt, the biker was arrested for violation of rules on city roads.

The video has been uploaded by Hindustan Times on their YouTube channel. The biker was seen performing stunts on Noida Sector 62 road. A Police spokesperson said, “The local Sector 58 Police Station officials took cognizance of the video that had gone viral on social media and arrested Pushpendra Singh, a resident of Krishna Nagar in Delhi. His KTM motorcycle on which he was performing the stunts has been impounded.” The incident happened on 15 March 2021 and Pushpendra Singh was arrested by evening the same day after the video became viral.

In the video, the biker is seen performing wheelie on his Duke motorcycle. As he reaches the intersection, he brings the front wheel down and does a stoppie or lifts the rear wheel in air using the front brakes. After that, he turns the bike around and is also riding on the wrong side of the road. The biker is seen doing such stunts without any riding gear. By doing such stunts on public roads, the rider was putting his life as well as the life of other people using the road at risk.

Performing stunts on public roads is illegal and dangerous. There are high chances that, these stunts can end in an accident. This is also a distraction to other motorists. If you want to perform such stunts, it is recommended to find an empty spot, a ground or even a closed road for these purposes. Another thing is the riding gear. No matter whether you are learning how to stunt or a pro, always wear proper riding gear. People who want to learn the art of stunting, they should always take help from experts rather than doing it on their own.

Nowadays, Police has also become vigilant. Authorities have set up CCTV cameras in various parts of the city to monitor traffic and other activities. Digitization has also helped authorities improve their style of working. They even have speed detection cameras and many other equipment to trace violators. These days, cops directly send challans online. This is not the first time something like this has happened. Few days away from this incident Surat Police had also arrested a social media influencer, Sanjana for sharing her video of performing dangerous stunts on public roads. Surat Police had booked her under several charge and she was also seen doing wheelies on public road. The police released her after she had paid the bail amount. Apart from violating city road rules, she was also not wearing a face mask.
