Liger is announced for september 9th release as Vinayaka Chaviti Special. september 9th is thursday and friday is the Vinayaka Chaviti's holiday followed by the weekend holidays. So, september 9th is a very good date.

But then, it is said that pawan kalyan and rana Daggubati's Ayyappanum Koshiyum telugu remake is also looking at the same day release. It has to be seen if the makers of Liger can afford a clash. karan johar is presenting the film's hindi version. charmi is the co-producer of this puri Jagannadh's directorial cum production venture.
