BAFTA Craft Awards: Tenet and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom wins
The BAFTA will take part on April 10th and 11th 2021.

The British Academy Film and Television Awards of 2021 officially started on April 10, Saturday. The award show has been divided to take part on 2 nights. The first night saw a lot of craft-focused awards being announced.
This included the awards for special visual effects, casting, costume, make-up and hair, sound, production design, Britsh short film and British short animation. The award night was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London virtually. Christopher Nolan’s Tenet won the BAFTA award for special visual effects.
Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom secured a win for both makeup and costume BAFTA awards. The best British short film award was given to “The Present” while “The Own and The Pussycat” won the BAFTA for best British short animation.
The BAFTA film awards are all set to take place tonight and many amazing movies compete this year. India’s Adarsh Gourav has been nominated for Best Actor for his stellar performance in The White Tiger.
Prince William, who was supposed to make a virtual appearance on the first night pulled off due to the demise of his grandfather, Prince Philip.
