Bengal Guv Jagdeep Dhankar appeals all to condemn violence in democracy

Kolkata, Apr 11 (UNI) West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar today said

that all ( people) must unitedly condemn and abjure violence that has not to place in a democracy.

Mr Dhankar, while referring to the bloody violence at Sitalkuchi,

Cooch Behar during voting in north Bengal and subsequent death of 4 persons in the central forces firing on Saturday, s0aid he was in pain at the violence there.

" All must unitedly condemn and abjure violence that has no place in

democracy. Pained and anguished at violence in Coochbehar leading to

loss of lives., " Mr Dhankar said on his Twitter account.

" People in authority must show statesmanship and ensure respect for

constitutional institutions & CAPF engaged in public duty,"

the governor advocated.
