Meghan Markle will not be joining Prince Harry at his grandfather, Prince Philip’s funeral- Here is why

Prince Philip passed away on April 9th, aged 99. As the whole world mourned the loss, the royal family gave their statement. The Prince and Duke of Edinburgh had been hospitalised after being unwell for a few days.
Reports state that Prince Harry will be coming for Prince Philip’s funeral at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. He hasn’t visited the UK ever since he and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from being full-time working members of the royal family.
The couple’s interview with Oprah Winfrey sparked debates all across the globe. The interview showed the strained relationships they both had with the members of the royal family.
Now, many reports by People magazine and The Independent state that Meghan Markle will not be attending Prince Philip’s funeral. As she is heavily pregnant with her second child, a baby girl, she has been advised by her doctors to not travel.
Harry and Meghan had paid tribute to Prince Philip after his demise on their Archewell website. “In loving memory of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh 1921-2021. Thank you for your service… you will be greatly missed,” they wrote.
