Telangana intermediate exams are likely to be held according to schedule

Hyderabad: The secretary of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate (TS BIE) Syed Omer Jaleel said that intermediate examinations will be conducted according to the schedule. He also said that preparations were being made for conducting examinations and that hall tickets had been issued. The first-year exams start on May 1, while the second year starts the next day.

Although, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the council experienced difficulties, he managed to complete all the preparations for the exams.

Asked about the possibility of promoting students without taking exams, he said the government can only decide on that. However, the council is ready to take the exams, he added.

With further details, he said that 400 examination centers were added to the existing 1771 centers in the states to write examinations for 8.5 lakh students of the first and second year.

The secretary said due to the continuing increase in the covid-19 In cases in the state, TSBIE has postponed the practical exams in the meantime and it will be taken after the theory exam. The board also announced that exams for the two subjects, ethics and human values ​​and environmental education for the first year, are offered in assignments from home.
