Indian Railways is continuously increasing the number of trains for the convenience of passengers amid a new wave of the Coronavirus. Under this, Western Railway is going to operate additional weekly special trains. These three trains will run between Bandra Terminus-Barauni Junction, Surat-Hatia, and Udhna-Chhapra stations. According to a press release issued by Western Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer Sumit Thakur, to cater to passenger amenities and travel demand, Western Railway has launched Bandra Terminus-Barauni Junction, Bandra Terminus-Subedarganj, Surat-Hatia, and Udhna-Chapra It has been decided to run three more weekly special trains between the stations.
09005/09006 Bandra Terminus - Barauni Weekly Special
Train number 09005
Bandra Terminus-Barauni Weekly Special will run from Bandra Terminus at 15.45 hrs every Friday and will arrive at Barauni at 1.20 pm on Sunday. This train will run from 16 April to 28 May 2021.
Train number 09006
Barauni - Banda Terminus Weekly Special will leave Barauni Junction at 00.30 hrs every Monday and reach Bandra Terminus at 17.25 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from April 19, 2021, to May 31, 2021.

These trains will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bayana, Agra Fort, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Lucknow City, Faizabad, Varanasi, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Patna stations from both sides. . These trains include AC 2-tier cum 3-tier, sleeper class, and second class seating coaches.

Subedarganj-Banda Terminus will leave Subedarganj at 5.30 pm every Wednesday and reach Bandra Terminus at 11.20 am on Thursday. This train will run from 14 April 2021 to 2 June 2021.

Surat-Hatia weekly special will leave Surat at 14.20 every Thursday and will reach Hatia at 17.30 on Friday. This train will run from 15 April to 27 May 2021.

Booking of train number 09095 will begin on April 10, 2021. Booking of train numbers 09005 and 09081 will begin from April 12, 2021, and booking of train number 09087 will open from April 14, 2021, at designated PRS counters on the IRCTC website.
