Jalna/Hingoli, Apr 10 (UNI) Jalna district of Marathwada region on Saturday recorded 652 fresh corona positive cases.
According to the report received from Jalna district civil surgeon, with these new addition the total number of cases have now surged to 31,855 while on on Saturday 2 more COVID related deaths were reported taking the death toll to 562 in the district.
He further said that 597 patients were discharged on Saturday after recovery, taking the count of recovered cases to 25,208.
Presently, there are 6,085 active cases in the district, he said, adding that the recovery rates currently stands at 79.13 percent and fatality rate stands at 1.76 per cent.
Hingoli district reported 111 fresh COVID cases on Saturday and no new deaths.
While 301 cured patients were discharged on Saturday in the district and 858 active patients were currently undergoing treatment in different Covid Care Centres, they added.
