Kolkata, Apr 10 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday urged
the West Bengal voters to participate
into voting in large and record numbers, even as around 16 per cent
vote was polled in the first two hours
upto 9 am in the 4th phase voting for 44 assembly seats across five
districts of the state.
The phase 4 voting in 44 assembly constituencies, 9 of them are in
Howrah, 11 in South 24 Parganas, five in Alipurduar, nine in
Coochbehar and 10 in the Hooghly district.
" As the 4th phase of the West Bengal elections begin, urging the
people voting today to do so in record numbers. I would especially
request the youth and women to vote in large numbers," Mr Modi said on
his twitter account.
