Hojai, April 8: The District Administration of Hojai on Thursday reviewed flood preparedness level in the wake of upcoming monsoon season. For the same, a meeting with the heads of line departments and Circle Officers was held which was presided over by Deputy Commissioner DrSadnek Singh, IAS in the conference hall of the DC office. Dr Singh asked all the heads and Cos present to remain alert and avoid any unwanted incident during floods. He also directed all the concerned officials to make all possible arrangements in advance to minimize damage as much as possible, if any. In the meeting a PPT presentation was presented on flood preparedness by the Field Officers of Hojai, Doboka and Lanka Revenue Circle. Additional Deputy Commissioner cum CEO, DDMA GauriSankar Das, ACS; Circle Officers of Hojai, Lanka and Doboka as well as other host of officials from different departments were present in the meeting.
