Bhupesh Baghel administered first shot of Covid-19 vaccine

Raipur, Apr 9 (UNI) Chhattishgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday took first jab of coronavirus vaccine at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, here.

The 59-year-old Congress leader asked the doctors about the possible conditions arising within one or two days of vaccination and the precautions to be taken immediately after inoculation.

He also reviewed vaccination situation in the state with Health Minister T S Singhdev, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Renu G Pillai and Corona vaccination state nodal officer Dr Priyanka Shukla.

Chhattisgarh Housing Board president Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor Ijaz Dhebar, Director of Medical Education Department Dr RK Singh, Dean of Medical College Dr Vishnu Dutt, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Hospital Superintendent Dr Vineet Jain and Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Meera Baghel was also present on the occasion.
