    Share price of Apollo Hospital rises as Nifty weakens

    The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up 1,048.86 points, or 5.20 per cent, to 21,237.38 on Tuesday. The S&P500 index increased 143.06 points, or 6.00 per cent, to 2,529.19.
    Shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. gained 0.84 per cent to Rs 3140.65 in Friday's trade as of 11:40AM (IST).

    The stock hit a high price of Rs 3163.55 and low of Rs 3107.45 during the session.

    The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 13.63 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 11:40AM shares and turnover at Rs 10.64 crore around that time.

    The stock of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 3283.9 and Rs 1230.25, respectively.

    The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.91.

    Promotor/FII Holding
    Promoters held 30.82 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2020, while overseas investors held 51.7 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 10.85 per cent.

    Key Financials
    The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2765.34 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, down 0.24 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2772.04 crore and down 5.34 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2921.4 crore.

    Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 130.45 crore, up 41.58 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
