BATHINDA: About one-and-a-half months after addressing a rally at a village in Bathinda, social activist Lakhbir Singh again appeared in public on Friday and lead a caravan of vehicles to Singhu border in Delhi to protest the newly-enacted farm laws.
Lakhbir is wanted by the Delhi Police in connection with the January 26 violence in the capital and carries a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head.
While leading the rally from Gurdwara Mastuana Sahib near Sangrur, Lakhbir stressed on the need of unity among the farmers' groups in the struggle against the new farm laws.
Enthused with the response of people, Lakhbir asked them not to get discouraged if he gets arrested as police are after him.
Lakha claimed he will participate in the Kundly-Manesar-Palwal Expressway blockade on April 10.
