New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday conveyed his condolences to the British people and the Royal Family on the passing away of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and the husband of Queen Elizabeth II.
Mr Modi posted on twitter, 'My thoughts are with the British people and the Royal Family on the passing away of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
He had a distinguished career in the military and was at the forefront of many community service initiatives. May his soul rest in peace.'
Philip passed away at the age of 99, officials at Buckingham Palace said on Friday.
