Rumors that actress Anjali has contracted coronavirus did rounds a couple of days ago and all the fans, well-wishers and celeb friends of the actress took to social media to wish her fast recovery. However, the actress came out now and cleared the air saying that she hasn’t contracted the virus and trashed the reports that were coming about her health are false.

The actress who attended ‘Vakeel Saab’ pre-release event was said to be down with a fever the next morning and got herself tested just to find out that she contracted the virus, said the reports. However, the actress today denied those rumors and said that she hasn’t been tested positive for the virus and she was doing pretty well.

The same reports also said that she is the second actress to be contracted with the virus after nivetha thomas who tested positive past week. Denying all the rumors that are coming on her, she put up a note on her twitter page that read, "All my well-wishers, my friends and beloved fans, I am happy to inform you I have NOT tested positive for COVID. It came to my notice that some news articles/ websites reported that I tested positive which is completely false. I am safe and healthy and doing absolutely well. Stay safe and take care."
