Huma Qureshi is always known to push the envelope with her choice of roles and films, and this upcoming one is no different. The actress is all set to star in a political drama series that is a story of how, in a twist of fate, her character Rani Bharti’s life changes drastically, overnight.

The show showcases how the current Chief Minister disrupts the state’s political machinery in a blink. While his party officials await the name of his successor with bated breaths, the CM’s sudden announcement shocks everyone to the core including his wife Rani Bharati.

We got our hands on some exclusive stills from the film, where Huma is seen as a docile housewife, donning a simple saree and tending to household chores. But I’m sure there are multiple layers to her character and I’m excited to see her in this role!
