Jalna / Hingoli, Apr 8 (UNI) Jalna district of Marathwada region on Thursday recorded 618 fresh corona positive cases .
According to the report received from Jalna district civil surgeon, the total cases have now surged to 30,680 while on today six deaths were reported during the same period and death toll mounted to 552.
He further said that 395 cured patients were discharged today, taking the count of recovered cases to 24,175 of total caseload.
Presently, there are 5,953 active cases, he said, adding that the recovery rates stands to 78.80 percent and fatality rate stands at 1.80 per cent.
Report from Hingoli district stated that,255 fresh cases of corona positive and six deaths were reported in the district .
While 192 cured patients were discharged today and 993 active patients were undergoing treatment in different covid care centres,they added.
