LIVE market updates: The Indian benchmark indices ticked lower in Friday's noon deals after spending majority of the session in a rangebound trade.
The S&P BSE Sensex traded around 49,530 levels, down 200 points and the Nifty50 index hovered around 14,850. Bajaj Finance and UltraTech Cement (both down 2%) were the top Sensex laggards.
The Nifty sectoral indices were trading mixed, with Nifty Pharma and Nifty PSU Bank indexes, up 2 per cent each, leading the gainers.
In the broader markets, the S&P BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices were trading 0.3 per cent and 0.9 per cent higher, respectively.
