Two women die in Tamil Nadu road accident

<p>A minivan coming from the opposite direction rammed the autorickshaw. <o:p></o:p></p>
TRICHY: Two women died when a minivan rammed an autorickshaw they were travelling in near Udayarpalayam town in Ariyalur district of Tamil Nadu on Friday. Four men suffered injuries in the accident.
K Chandra, P Pavunammal, K Manikandan and A Nithyanandam, all residents of Colony Street in Reddipalayam, were travelling from V Kaikati to Udayarpalayam Payaraneeswarar temple in an autorickshaw. A minivan coming from the opposite direction rammed the autorickshaw.
Chandra, 50, and Pavunammal, 65, died on the spot. Manikandan and Nithyanandam and auto driver Chittrarasu sustained severe injuries. They were admitted to Jayankondam Government Hospital.
Minivan driver Ranjith, who sustained head injuries, was admitted to Ariyalur Government Hospital.
The Udayarpalayam police registered a case.
