Telangana: YS Sharmila, sister of Andhra Pradesh’s Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, is likely to run a new political party in the ‘Sankalpa Sabha’ in Telangana’s Khammam. Sharmila is on her way to Khammam.
She will be received by people in Hayath Nagar, Abdullapurmet, Choutuppal, Nakrekal, Suryapet, Namavaram, Nayakangudem and will reach Khammam’s Pavilion Grounds, where the meeting is scheduled, at about 5:15 p.m.
Talks about her founding a new party have been going on for a while. Sharmila is likely to make a political entry into Telangana politics ahead of the state’s 2023 polls.
The polls for 119 seats in the state of Telangana are expected to be held in 2023. In the polls for the 2018 meeting, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi emerged victorious and secured 88 seats in the House.
