Gurgaon: In line with central guidelines, Haryana will begin vaccinations in workplaces from April 11. Gurgaon has already been conducting session sites in offices since April 1.
The sessions will be organised in offices that have 100 eligible and willing recipients. “We have asked all districts to follow protocols and set up workplace vaccination centres and to administer jabs to the maximum number of people at the earliest as cases are rising every day,” said Dr Veena Singh, director general of health services, Haryana.
Covid vaccination centres (CVCs) nodal officers will ensure registration of all targeted beneficiaries. On-the spot registration will be available only to employees. Apart from Aadhaar, other approved IDs include passport, driving licence, PAN, smart card issued under NPR and pension document with photograph.
The teams will include a doctor, vaccinator, vaccination officer 1 to work as verifier for Co-WIN and vaccination officers 2 and 3 for crowd management and AEFI observation. The medical officer will ensure the availability of an anaphylaxis kit at the centre.
