New technology and discovery has taken cinema to the digital stage and now Covid-19 has moved cinema further to the OTT and web platforms, which are another digital form of consuming content. One such web platform Bandra Film Festival, a digital film festival hosted by Filmkaravan in collaboration with YouTube, has successfully showcased a mixed bag of hidden gems from the past, new discoveries and exaggerated stories of interesting features, short films and docu -dramas.
The festival that Abhay Deol has on his advisory board shows a new series called ‘The Reminiscing Collection’, consisting of one short and two docu-dramas called Grant St. Shaving Co., a short, romantic-emotional film directed by Payal Sethi, Through Our Eyes, directed by Brahmanand S.Siingh, and Begamon Ka Bhopal directed by Rachita Gorowala. The films will be broadcast live on the Youtube channel of the Bandra Film Festival on April 7, 2021: youtube.com/bandrafilmfestival. This collection is an ode to the diverse emotions we experience over time. Whether it’s love, friendship and even timeless royalty, this series promises to take you on an incredible and indelible journey through memory.
