The state government approves the construction of a six-lane bridge over Hussain Sagar

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has approved the construction of a six-lane bridge to permanently resolve the traffic issue. The bridge that starts opposite the Marriot Hotel will cost Rs 25 cr. Building.

The state government has also allocated an additional amount of Rs.41 cr for the installation of Hussainsagar gates and bridges from Raniganj to Buddha Bhavan.

The Department of Municipal Administration has approved in its short-term plans for 2020-21 Rs. 858 cr for the works of bridges, extension of Nallas and the preservation of bodies of water and lakes.

Efforts will be made to improve the stormwater drainage system in Hyderabad.

The development works are divided into 25 packages that fall under six zones of GHMC.

An overview will be made of the nearby municipalities that suffered heavy losses last year due to heavy rain.

It is said that the government has approved Rs30 pounds to build Bandlaguda Cheru to the Nagol Cheru Surplus Channel and Nalla.

Similarly, Rs.56,34 cr was approved for Saroornagar Lake to Chaitanyapur works. An amount of Rs.12 cr approved for Balkapur Nalla. Afzalsagar Nalla granted separate approval.
