Imphal, April 07 2021: Troops of Assam Rifles at Loktak under Churachandpur sector organised a friendly volleyball match with the youths of potshangbam and upokpi villages of Bishnupur district, Manipur on 07 April 2021 .

The aim of the event was to foster the spirit of sportsmanship and building up trust between locals and security forces.

The match was played with utmost enthusiasm ,wherein the youths of the village displayed immense passion, zeal and sporting spirit.

The audience included youngsters as well as elders from the nearby villages .

Attendees enjoyed a well-contested match which was eventually played in a best of three series.

A vote of thanks was offered by village authorities and youths to the Assam Rifles for undertaking such an initiative.
