It'd be nigh impossible to even begin to imagine a world where Allu Arjun isn't a cinematic actor. The man has been a part of so many huge blockbusters and delivered so many iconic characters, that you almost feel he was born to be a moviestar. However, what if we were to tell you that Allu Arjun himself did not initially desire to be an actor. Stunned? Well, the revelation comes straight from his younger brother, Allu Sirish, who, during an exclusive interview with BollywoodLife, disclosed to us that both brothers wanted entirely different career paths to where they landed while growing up. And today being Allu Arjun's birthday and all, we couldn't think of a better opportunity to share this interesting bit of trivia with y'all. Opening about their dreams as kids, Allu Sirish said, “In fact, both of us never thought of acting (as a career) as kids. I used to say a cricketer or WWF (now WWE) player (as his future career). I actually seriously thought I'd be a WWF player. Hulk Hogan was my childhood favourite. We (both him and Allu Arjun) that we'd probably play cricket, you know...or something random (that came in their minds) because acting, we did it (as child artistes), but we thought we'd do a one-off for the fun of it or something. We never thought of it as our business (both hail from the longstanding and prestigious Allu-Konidela film family of Telugu cinema)...we never thought of it that way.” Also Read - Happy birthday, Allu Arjun: Early celebrations begin as Rana Daggubati, Rakul Preet Singh, Tamannaah, Armaan Malik and others trend 'Allu Arjun Birthday CDP' on Twitter
Highlighting when the acting bug finally bit both brothers, he added, “After 16, once you start watching a film and know way much more about it, and then you think maybe this scene could've been like this or maybe I would've done it that way, you already know these things. From there it starts seeping into your brain and by the time you're 18, 19 or 20, you know this is what you're going to do for the rest of your life.” Also Read - Allu Arjun and wife Sneha's lovey-dovey pictures from the Maldives will make you scream, 'Oh...so romantic!'
