Chile reactivates free solidarity plans for consumers and SMEs

Thursday 8 April 2021 | 11:30 CET | News
Chile's Transport and Telecommunications Ministry MTT and telecommunications regulator Subtel announced that participating operators have decided to reactivate the special plans first launched last year to ensure that users of mobile and fixed line services remain connected. The 'Plan Solidario' signed with Atelmo's member companies Movistar (Telefonica), Entel, Claro (America Movil), VTR and Grupo GTD, plus WOM, CMET and Netline last year allowed more than 11 million beneficiaries to access a free emergency bundle, said Subtel.
