Hyderabad: K Chandrashekhar Rao, Prime Minister of Telangana, announced on Thursday that he will issue financial assistance to all school teachers and staff working in recognized private education institutions in the state.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and schools closed in the state, the CM announced a financial aid of 2 000 Rs per month and 25 kg of rice to all the teachers and non-teaching staff of the private schools.
The CM instructed the general secretary of finance, Ramakrishna Rao, to coordinate with the education authorities and complete the procedure.
The CM said the decision was made to support families of teachers and other staff of private educational institutions on the basis of humanity.
The government decision will benefit nearly 1.45 lakh people working in recognized private educational institutions in the state. The staff must be registered with their bank account and other details at their respective district collection office to benefit.
