Prize winners and teachers during a Quiz Competition of the Science Awareness Programme at Centre for Composite Learning, Wabagai, Kakching District

The 4-day programme of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Demonstration and Popularization Science Awareness in the rural areas conducted by the People’s Development Foundation (PDF) Cherapur, Thoubal District, Manipur

And sponsored by the National Council for Science and Technology Communications, Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India has been concluded today at the premises of the Centre for Composite Learning Wabagai, Kakching District, Manipur with various science based activities namely Science Quiz Competition, Science Model Competition and Painting Competitions.

The programme was organized with an objective to popularize and inculcate the basic science and technology innovations amongst the educationally backward SC/ST concentrated rural areas in Manipur.

attended the Closing function as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and President respectively.

Dr. Riyazuddin Khan of Lilong Haoreibi College and Kh. Sapana of Moreh College attended as resource persons and the coordinator of the programme Dr. Ramir Khan gave the key note address of the function.
