Viacom18 appoints Chanpreet Arora as Business Head - AVOD and Vineet Govil as Chief Technology Officer

Arora who launched Vice Media in India and Govil who was VP at Sling Media have joined the Viacom family with immediate effect

Viacom18 has announced the appointment of Chanpreet Arora as Business Head – AVOD (Voot), and of Vineet Govil as Chief Technology Officer at Viacom18 Digital Ventures. 

 

In her new role, Arora will be responsible for leading AVOD led partnerships that are key to VOOT’s overall growth, whereas Govil will spearhead the product’s tech play by offering a more seamless and immersive experience for consumers.

 

She was responsible for launching VICE Media in India as its CEO and worked across popular organisations in her previous roles.

Vineet headed Sling Media Pvt Ltd’s (a subsidiary of DISH Network Inc, USA) India Development Centre as Vice President and worked across areas tech companies.
