3 die by suicide in separate incidents

Nagpur: Three persons, including a 75-year-old ailing man, died by suicide in separate incidents in the last 24 hours.
In the first incident, Piraji Shinde (75), a resident of Ram Nagar, allegedly ended his life by hanging from the window of his house on Tuesday afternoon. He was ailing since last one year. Ambazari police have registered a case of accidental death.
In the second incident, Snehal Dhone (37) allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house. According to Ambazari police, Dhone’s wife had left him a year ago. Dhone, who used to work in a printing press, made a vain attempt to convince her to return home. Since then he was under mental stress and also started consuming liquor, police said.
In the third incident, a 35-year-old married woman ended her life in her flat at Pyramid City on Besa Road on Tuesday evening by hanging herself. Police said the deceased Khatija Murtuja Sunelwala was married and had three children. Her husband runs a hardware shop in New Subhedar Layout. Khatija was suffering from a mental disorder and had tried to end her life in the past too, Hudkeshwar police said.
