Cypriot operator Epic said it obtained EUR 19 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) to accelerate the expansion of its fibre network. The new investment will also help improve the country's fast broadband access, which is currently lagging behind the EU average, Epic said.
