First Sinobooms for CP

Ireland’s CP Hire has taken delivery of six 19ft Sinoboom 1932ME scissor lifts, the first machines from the manufacturer in its fleet.

The units, which were delivered to CP’s depot in Belfast include maintenance free AGM batteries in lockable chests, a protective control box cover and a bumper rail which protects the decals from damage.

Managing director Andrew Hutchinson said: “We were impressed by the quality and finish of the Sinoboom product which, combined with the reassurance of convenient local back up service here in Ireland, prompted us to take the step to invest. One unit went out on hire immediately!”

Julie Houston Smyth of Sinoboom added: “The opportunity to supply our Sinoboom scissors to such a long-established company as CP Hire is praise in itself. Our European operation in Rotterdam is growing from strength to strength as our product is being so well received by the market.”

Based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, CP Hire was established by Norman Hutchinson in 1971, and 50 years on is managed by Hutchinson brothers Andrew and David. The company runs a wide range of equipment from seven locations - Belfast, Ballymena, Mid Ulster, Derry, Banbridge and Magherafelt.
