Corona in Maharashtra continues to wreak havoc. The situation is becoming uncontrollable in most districts of the state. A similar view was seen in Pune. Actually, there is a lack of beds in the hospitals present in the Pimpri area of Pune. Here the problem has increased so much that patients are being forced to sit in the waiting area by applying oxygen and they are also being treated here. The administration says that it is trying its best to control the situation. At the same time, a separate setup of seven beds with oxygen is being made.

This is the whole case

According to the information, Yashwantrao Chahwan Memorial Hospital in Pune has a total of 400 beds, of which there are 55 ICUs. On Tuesday (April 6), all the beds in the hospital were full. Let us know that there are a total of 79 ventilators in Pune, which are proving to be inadequate in terms of the number of patients.

Being treated like this

Dr. Kaustubha Kahane, Assistant Professor of the hospital said that the number of patients in the PCMC (Pimpri Chinchwad Mahanagar Palika) area is increasing steadily. He is having trouble breathing. In such a situation, they are being kept on oxygen support till the beds are arranged.

He informed that as soon as a new patient is coming, he is being treated on the basis of the severity of the disease. If the patient needs oxygen and the bed is not present, then it is our endeavor that the patient does not have problems. He is being given oxygen support immediately.
