CBI registers preliminary inquiry against former Maha Home Minister Anil Deshmukh who resigned over corruption allegations

The High Court had ordered the CBI to hold preliminary enquiry into former Mumbai police chief Param Bir Singh’s allegations against Anil Deshmukh running an extortion wing.
