Norwegian study on service substitution during network outages finds fixed broadband is prominent medium

The Norwegian Institute of Transport Economics (TOI) and consultancy Analysys Mason have published 'The Norwegian Substitution Study for Electronic Communication', including a seven-page section in English. It maps service substitution patterns in case of outages, based on surveys to all Norwegian companies and organisations. It found that fixed broadband constitutes the most prominent service, both for personal and non-personal communications.
