Telxius collaborating with Ciena on undersea managed spectrum service

Telefonica's infrastructure subsidiary Telxius has teamed up with Ciena to launch a custom managed spectrum offering via the Marea and Dunant transatlantic submarine cables. In a statement, Telxius said it will be using Ciena's GeoMesh Extreme submarine networking platform to better address the global connectivity needs of customers including content providers, global enterprise and third-party operators.
