Varun Dhawan’s chiselled abs have been the talk of social media every now then. His nutritionist Maya Sawant has finally talked about the strict diet the actor follows. In an exclusive interview with Times of India, she has spoken about the actor’s diet and cheat days.
She talked about how Varun Dhawan is a perfectionist for anything, including his diet. Maya revealed that he prefers good carbs like veggies and oats and includes salmon and chicken for protein. She also mentioned that his diets change according to the films he chooses.
“His diet changes as it depends on the role he is essaying and the built required for the same. If he needs a lean or sharp look then he goes for a calorie deficit diet,” she adds.
Maya Sawant also revealed what a cheat day looks like for the Bollywood actor. According to her, Varun craves pizza or tandoori chicken on the days he cheats on his diet. He also loves to have comforting home food on such days.
Maya has been a nutritionist for several celebs and believes that a balanced diet is necessary for good health as well as wellness of the mind. She says that dieting is very important and the lack of a good diet can lead to one not getting any results.
