'Liger' is an upcoming Sports Action flick written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and the movie is jointly bankrolled by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar and Puri Jagannadh under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. Apart from Telugu, the movie is also shot on a parallel note in Hindi language too. The makers have decided to release the movie on September 9, 2021.

Ananya Panday does the female lead role. The movie also features ramya krishnan, ronit roy, makarand deshpande as part of the supporting cast. The movie has music by mani sharma and Tanishk Bagchi. In this movie devarakonda will be seen as a kickboxer and he has undergone a drastic transformation.The team is currently shooting in mumbai despite the upsurge in COVID cases.


Now we hear from sources that the team has roped in hollywood Stunt Choreographer AndyLong & Team, who worked for Jackie Chan and many other hollywood films.
