    Share price of Petronet LNG rises as Nifty strengthens

    Shares of Ltd. gained 1.47 per cent to Rs 231.5 in Wednesday's trade as of 10:36AM (IST).

    The stock hit a high price of Rs 232.5 and low of Rs 228.15 during the session.

    The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 24.3 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:36AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.45 crore around that time.

    The stock of Petronet LNG Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 280.0 and Rs 196.2, respectively.

    The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.66.

    Promotor/FII Holding
    Promoters held 50.0 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2020, while foreign investors held 29.49 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 7.0 per cent.

    Key Financials
    The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 7427.9 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, up 16.47 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 6377.66 crore and up 17.42 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 8994.39 crore.

    Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 882.05 crore, up 29.86 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
