He overtook Mehidy Hasan of Bangladesh to reach 5th spot in the latest chart. Rabada now has 669 points in ICC Rankings. He had picked two wickets against Pakistan in two matches. Besides Rabada, South Africa’s Anrich Nortje started the series against Pakistan with figures of 4-51 and 3-63 to move to a career-best 73rd place with 427 points. His compatriot, Haris Rauf took five wickets in the first two ODIs to gain 71 places to 143rd with the ball.
Meanwhile, New Zealand’s Tim Southee has swapped places with Australia and RCB’s Adam Zampa in the T20I Rankings. Tim Southee remains the top-ranked seamer in sixth place, up to a career-best 669 points after taking 3-15 in the final match against Bangladesh. He managed to pick 6 wickets in the recently concluded 3-match T20I series against Bangladesh.
