CableLabs certifies first low-latency Docsis 3.1 cable modem

CableLabs announced the certification of the first cable modem that includes the Low Latency Docsis (LLD) set of features. The industry group said this is a major milestone on the path toward 10G speeds on cable networks, thanks to improved latency.
