Kolhapur, Apr 5 (UNI) Hindu Janjagran Samiti (HJS) has demanded to ban on non-Hibdus and atheists from entering Hindu temples across the country following a very disturbing incident was revealed at the Koragajja temple in Mangaluru(Karnataka), in which two Muslim youths have violated the scncity of the temple by throwing objectionable items in the donation box of the temple.
In a press statement here this evening, Ramesh Shinde, HJS national spokesperson, said that two Muslim youths, who identified as Nawaz Abdul Rahim and Abdul Tawfiq, who with violated the sanctity of the temple , through countreaceptives in temple's donation box and few days later, Nawaz died of vomiting blood. Fearing that Nawaz's death was due to God's wrath, Abdul Tawfiq went to the priests and confessed. After the priests verified, the Police were called and the religious fanatics were handed over to the Police. Not a single Muslim leader who has called for inter-religious harmony has expressed even a simple regret in this regard.
Mr Shinde warned that the administration would have to face the wrath of Hindus if strict action was not taken against those who commit such acts with the intention of spreading rift in society.
HJS has appealed to temple trustees across the country to ban non-Hindus and atheists from entering Hindu temples so that the sanctity of temples is protected, and law and order was not disturbed further during the Coronavirus epidemic. The campaign would be carried out by Samiti under the aegis of 'Rashtriya Mandir-Sanskriti Raksha Abhiyan' and all the temple trustees and devotees should participate, Mr Shinde added.
