Puducherry records 20% voter turnout till 11am

PUDUCHERRY: The Union territory of Puducherry recorded 20.07% voter turnout till 11am.
Yanam registered the highest turnout with 24.17% followed by Karaikal (20.7%), Puducherry (19.92%) and Mahe (15.46%).
Former chief minister V Narayanasamy cast his vote at a polling booth in Government Girls’ French High School. Among those who exercised their right so far include All India NR Congress president N Rangasamy, former ministers M Kandasamy and Malladi Krishna Rao and BJP president V Saminathan.
