Mamata wrote, “My appeal to the mother-land-people of Bengal – exercise your democratic rights, everyone come, vote. Vote early in the morning.”
The same message came from the BJP leadership and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister tweeted for the voters as in the previous two points. He tweeted in the regional language of the state where the election was held today. Booths today in 31 seats in three districts of Bengal.
That is why Modi also tweeted in Bengali. He wrote, “In all the places in West Bengal where elections are taking place today, I urge the voters to cast their votes in large numbers. Vote and strengthen democracy!”
Incidentally, voting took place in 31 constituencies of South 24 Parganas, Howrah and Hughli today. Out of these 31 seats, there are several heavy weight centers.
