Available immediately, Okta Starter Developer Edition includes access to the majority of Okta's customer identity and access management products (including Adaptive Multi-factor Authentication to API Access Management), and may be used at no cost for up to 15,000 monthly active users.
It is said to help developers address a broad set of identity use cases across the application development lifecycle with enhanced documentation, sample apps, and new integrations spanning continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), microservices and APIs.
According to the company, developers need tools that enable them to build securely, with seamless integration across hybrid, cloud-native, and multi-cloud environments.

Alongside Okta Starter Developer Edition, the company has revealed a new development experience for all its customers.
It is said to speed the development process and provide full application development lifecycle support.
This includes enhanced documentation, guides, and sample apps; new integrations with DevOps, SecOps, and API security tooling
These changes include SDKs for languages and frameworks including Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, Vue.js, React Native, and Spring Boot; integrations with development platforms and tools including Kong, JHipster, Heroku andTerraform; and a completely redesigned console.
Okta Starter Developer Edition and the other new capabilities are available now.
