The game developer has revealed the details of banned players in its April’s Crackdown report.
According to the report, a total of 1,691,949 accounts have been banned permanently from the game between the period of March 28 and April 1.
The developers say that these players were found breaking the game’s anti-cheat policy. The report suggests that these players were using third-party hacks to get an edge over other players and gain more kills in the battle royale multiplayer game.
The April Crackdown report also reveals the cheat methods being used by these players. Auto Aim hack tops the chart by 34%, while 12% players used speed hacks. Other hacks include modification of area damage, modification of character model and more.
The report also provides detailed information of all the banned accounts based on the tier system of the game. Around 35% players of the 1.6 million are from the Bronze category, while Diamond tier players found cheating are 13%.
The banned players list also contains 12% Crown tier players and Platinum and Silver tier combined has 11% players that have received a permanent ban from the game.
Gold category players are 9% and 11% Ace tier players are also a part of this ban wave. Conquer category players are 1% of the total.
Using hacks and cheats in PUBG Mobile is not a new thing, players have been using these hacks for a while now and PUBG Mobile developers have been working on removing all the unfair means from the game for a while. These banwaves are to set a reminder for players that unfair practices in the game won’t be tolerated.
