A comprehensive wrap of all the kick-off times, results and match reports for this weekend's English Premier League:

SATURDAY, 3 APRIL

Chelsea 2-5 West Brom - MATCH REPORT

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel suffered the first defeat of his reign as struggling West Bromwich Albion took advantage of Thiago Silva's red card to earn a stunning 5-2 win on Saturday.

Tuchel had overseen a 14-match unbeaten run in all competitions since replacing the sacked Frank Lampard in January.

But that impressive start came to an embarrassing end as West Brom ran riot at Stamford Bridge.

Leeds United 2-1 Sheffield United

Leicester City 0-2 Man City - MATCH REPORT

Manchester City moved ever closer to a third Premier League title in four seasons as a rare goal from Benjamin Mendy and Gabriel Jesus's strike earned a 2-0 win at third-placed Leicester on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola's men now hold a commanding 17-point lead at the top of the table, albeit Manchester United can cut into that gap with two games in hand.

However, it appears a matter of when, not if, City will reclaim the status of English champions after losing their crown to Liverpool last season.

Arsenal 0-3 Liverpool

Mikel Arteta said standards have to improve at Arsenal after the Gunners were outclassed in a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday to realistically end their chances of a top-four finish in the Premier League.

By contrast, Liverpool surged back into contention for a place in next season's Champions League with one of their best performances of the season at the Emirates.

SUNDAY, 4 APRIL

Southampton 3-2 Burnley

Southampton took a huge step towards securing their Premier League safety as Nathan Redmond sealed a vital 3-2 win over fellow strugglers Burnley.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side moved 10 points clear of the relegation zone with eight games left after a dramatic fightback at St Mary's.

Chris Wood's early penalty put Burnley ahead and Matej Vydra doubled the visitors' lead. But Southampton hit back impressively as Stuart Armstrong and Danny Ings scored before half-time.

Saints midfielder Redmond bagged the second-half winner that gave his team much-needed breathing space in the fight to avoid relegation to the Championship.

Newcastle 2-2 Tottenham - MATCH REPORT

Tottenham's bid for a top-four finish in the Premier League suffered a setback as Joe Willock's late strike rescued a 2-2 draw for lowly Newcastle.

Jose Mourinho's side were just five minutes away from moving into fourth place when Willock equalised at St James' Park.

Joelinton had put Newcastle ahead, but Harry Kane struck twice in four minutes before the break.

Even Kane's latest heroics weren't enough for Tottenham though and they now sit in fifth place, two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with eight games left.

Aston Villa 3-1 Fulham

Fulham looked set to move out of the drop zone when Aleksandar Mitrovic pounced on a loose pass back by Tyrone Mings to score his first league goal since September.

Villa had looked devoid of ideas without talisman Jack Grealish due to injury.

But Dean Smith's men suddenly sparked into life to score three times in the final 12 minutes.

Mings made amends by teeing up substitute Trezeguet to slot home from the edge of the box.

Three minutes later the Egyptian swept home at the back post for his second of the game before Ollie Watkins tapped home from Bertrand Traore's cross to round off the scoring.

Man United 2-1 Brighton - MATCH REPORT

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted he had to awaken Manchester United from their slumber as the Red Devils came from behind to beat Brighton 2-1 on Sunday.

Danny Welbeck headed the Seagulls in front against his former side as Brighton dominated the first-half at Old Trafford.

However, for the eighth time in the league this season, Solskjaer's men came from behind to close the gap on Premier League leaders Manchester City to 14 points thanks to second-half goals from Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.

MONDAY, 5 APRIL

Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Everton missed the chance to also move within three points of four, with a game in hand to come, as Michy Batshuayi's 86th minute equaliser salvaged a point for the Eagles at Goodison Park.

The Toffees were made to rue a string of missed chances either side of James Rodriguez's opener.

Wolves 2-3 West Ham - MATCH REPORT

Jesse Lingard inspired West Ham to a thrilling 3-2 win at Wolves to move fourth in the Premier League on Monday.

Lingard's stunning form since joining the Hammers on loan from Manchester United in January saw him earn a recall by England manager Gareth Southgate last month.

The midfielder further bolstered his case for inclusion in Southgate's squad for Euro 2020 as he ran from inside his own half to slot home his sixth goal in eight West Ham appearances after just six minutes.
