The rising cases of Corona-virus in Maharashtra have lead to new restrictions in the state. Mumbai itself is recording breaking numbers each day and every day we hear news of a new Bollywood celebrity turning positive for Corona. Khiladi Kumar also informed his fans on Sunday morning that he is corona positive.
Sharing a statement on his social media, Akshay Kumar wrote, "I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for Covid-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!"
On Sunday, Mumbai saw the highest single day Covid-19 spike with 11163 cases, its highest single day spike since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Akshay Kumar who was currently shooting for his upcoming film 'Ram Setu' alongwith Nushrat Bharucha and Jacqueline Fernandes is under home quarantine now. His look from the film was released recently where he will be seen playing the role of an archaeologist.
On the workfront, Akshay has a list of films in his kitty, that include, 'Sooryavanshi', 'Prithviraj', 'Atrangi Re' , 'Bachchan Pandey' and 'Bell Bottom'.
