Bhopal, Apr 5 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday appealed to people to wear mask and ask other to do so to protect state and the country from coronavirus.
In the evening, Mr Chouhan, along with his wife Sadhna Singh and children Kartikey and Kunal, kicked off awareness campaign against the virus.
The Chief Minister said that no one should step out of the house without a mask.
He also asked people not to talk with people not wearing masks.
The BJP leader advised that if someone without a mask goes to market for purchasing commodity, then shopkeeper concerned should refuse to give him the essential.
'To ward off the virus, we should follow coronavirus guidelines, wear mask, maintain social distancing, wash hands, sanitise and ask other people to do the same,' he suggested.
